Just Cause 2 Grapples To Top Of UK Charts

This month saw the release of a lot of major titles and most of them managed to take the top spot in the UK software charts. Case in point: Final Fantasy XIII ruled the charts when it released, and so did God of War
III the following week. And for the latest results in the sales chart, Rico took the number 1 spot as Just Cause 2 launched last week.

Pokemon SoulSilver managed to clinch the number 2 spot after only a week in the market. As for last week's number 1, God of War III, it slipped down to number 7 as Final Fantasy XIII is hanging tight on the number 8 spot.

Three More Titles Getting The Greatest Hits Treatment

Sony has just revealed 3 more titles getting the red "Greatest Hits" makeover and these should be very familiar to most.

First up is Killzone 2, continuing the battle against the Helghast forces and taking the fight to their own home world. Also in the FPS genre we see Resistance 2 following Nathan hale's fight against the Chimera continue (along with the fight to control the infection within himself).

Mafia II Puts Hit On PS3 Late August

Mafia II lets you experience the world of organized crime, set between the 1940s to 50s. In particular, you'd get to know more about Vito and the world wherein he revolves around. He is joined by friend Joe in an attempt to lead a life of crime to escape from poverty, but soon realize this world is more difficult than it appears.

Vanquish is the latest title from Platinum Games, which was created by Shinji Mikami, the same person behind Resident Evil. Only a bit of information has been available about the game so far, but things are about to change as the April 2010 edition of Play Generation magazine uncovered new details about Vanquish.

Guide to Yakuza 3 on the PlayStation 3

Yakuza 3 represents Japan best in a video game, not exactly in the melodramatic story that is told in this game but with the immense level of incidental detail. The first two games released off the franchise offered solid gameplay that entertained to its core. After all, it is one of few games to successfully combine action and elements of the sandbox genre into one fulfilling play. But despite its sleek modernity, Yakuza 3 stubbornly retains its traditionalism and often deemed backwards philosophy in terms of gameplay features.

One of those games included Manhunt, which is a gore-filled gruesome psychological horror title that was met with controversy due to the high level of graphic violence featured in the game. Penny Arcade Adventures Scrapped

Three years ago, the announcement of Penny Arcade Adventures came as a shocker since no one expected this arcade game to be available in downloadable format title. It also carried an interesting format wherein fans can receive a 4-part episodic quest. A year after the original announcement, the first episode was released and then the second episode came in a few months later.

A scan made by a gaming magazine revealed crucial information about the gameplay for Namco Bandai's Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. This is in the form of an online play, as well as confirmation of the game's roster that includes the Akatsuki members, and the freaky ninjas Kakuzu and Hidan.

Aliens Vs Predator Getting DLC "Soon After Release"

The DLC maps have been previously confirmed to arrive in Aliens vs Predator, but fans were quite curious to know as to exactly when this will arrive. Well, you shouldn't have to wait any further as you can now get an idea of how long of a wait you'd have to do. Turns out, it won't be that long since Tim Jones, head of art and design for Rebellion Games, indicate in an interview that it will be made available “soon after release” of the game.
